PPG employees raise money for Prostate Cancer UK

Grant-matching programme helped with fundraising.

The challenges of Covid-19 have done little to halt the charitable activities of employees at PPG who have raised more than £115,000 for Prostate Cancer UK through a series of fundraising challenges.

PPG’s UK employees have been raising money for Prostate Cancer UK since January 2017 with challenges including 12-hour swims, skydives and events like March for Men and The Big Golf Race.

The overall donation was made possible through PPG’s charity partner grant-matching programme and will help fund research into better diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer.

Matthew Baines, PPG director, trade, architectural coatings commented: “We are very proud to have raised such a significant amount to support the crucial work of Prostate Cancer UK.”

“More than just raising money, we are committed to raising awareness. We are grateful to Prostate Cancer UK for educating our employees about prostate cancer to help protect their health and the health of loved ones,” he added.
