Purdy, the leading professional painting tools manufacturer, has launched a new campaign championing the professional decorator and hopes to inspire young people to take up the trade.
Purdy understands that to be a professional decorator it takes a unique set of skills, craftsmanship and an appreciation of quality tools. In this new campaign, the company speaks to professionals to find out what it really means to be a professional decorator – and Purdy wants to shout about it to the next generation.

Purdy has also spoken with apprentices to find out what inspired them to take up professional decorating, what their training has taught them and the advice they would give to anyone considering joining the trade.
From 1 June, Purdy will be sharing its interviews with decorating professionals and apprentices across its YouTube, Facebook and Instagram accounts. It is also giving others the chance to share advice and top tips with Purdy followers through their own videos.
