The iconic Scottish paint manufacturer is moving operations to France.
Craig & Rose started manufacturing paint back in 1829 and the firm was synonymous with the Leith area (now part of Edinburgh). Currently, the firm is based near Dunfermline in Fife and it has been a shock to learn that it plans to move production to France, with the loss of many jobs. Distribution will be based in Suffolk, England. The two flagship stores in Edinburgh and Glasgow will remain open.
